Role Summary

Advitya Healthcares is looking for a skilled and dedicated Endoscopy Technician to join our clinical team. The candidate will be responsible for assisting doctors during gastrointestinal (GI) procedures, maintaining sophisticated endoscopic equipment, and ensuring strict sterilization and patient care protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Assistance: Assist Gastroenterologists/Surgeons during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures (Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, ERCP, therapeutic procedures and EUS etc.).
  • Equipment Care: Perform pre-procedure checks, leak tests, and ensure all endoscopic processors and light sources are functional. Arrange adjunct equipment for therapeutic procedures as needed and maintain a stock as per case load.
  • Sterilisation: Follow strict High-Level Disinfection (HLD) and manual cleaning protocols for endoscopes.
  • Patient Support: Prepare patients for procedures, monitor vital signs, and assist with post-procedure recovery. Arrange and manage the minor OT for procedures to be done under anaesthesia.
  • Specimen Management: Correctly label and manage biopsy specimens for pathology.
  • Logistics: Maintain stock levels of consumables and procedure-room inventory.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Diploma/Certificate in Endoscopy or OT Technology from a registered college.
  • Experience: 1–3 years in a clinical setting.
  • We prefer candidates who can manage the entire endoscopy suite, including scheduling therapeutic procedures such as ERCP, variceal band ligation, and biopsies. Maintaining stock for procedures and assisting with the procurement of stents and other endoscopic devices will be appreciated.
