The Parent Company

Advitya Healthcares Pvt Ltd

Building accessible specialist and hospital care through owned facilities, clinical programmes and healthcare partnerships.

Who We Are

Company Introduction and History

Advitya Healthcares Pvt Ltd is a healthcare company that owns and operates hospital and outpatient facilities, runs specialist clinical programmes, and works with partner hospitals to bring specialist care closer to the people who need it.

We were not born in a boardroom. We were moulded in hospital corridors — in the waiting rooms of overcrowded clinics, amidst the anxious whispers of families who had travelled miles for care that should have been available at home. Instead of building another large hospital in a metropolitan centre, we chose a different route: to operate our own facility where the need was sharpest, and to equip hospitals in second- and third-tier cities with expertise, technology and training.

Today the company operates Advitya Hospital Baruipur, a multispeciality hospital serving Baruipur and South 24 Parganas; an outpatient department in Kolkata; and a PancreaCare centre of excellence for pancreatic, liver and gastrointestinal surgery. In Khunti we work through an alliance partnership with an independently owned hospital.

What Drives Us

Vision, Mission and Values

Science for Humanity — stated plainly, and measured against what patients actually receive.

Vision

A country where a family does not have to choose between world-class treatment and staying together — where specialist surgical and cancer care is available in the town the patient already lives in.

Mission

To own and operate hospitals where access is thinnest, to run clinical programmes of genuine depth rather than breadth for its own sake, and to raise the standard of partner hospitals through training, protocol and shared expertise.

Values

Honesty about what we can and cannot do. Clinical decisions made on evidence, not on revenue. Dignity for the patient and the family. And a refusal to claim a capability we have not built.

How It Works

Advitya’s Healthcare Partnership Model

Outside our own hospital, Advitya does not buy hospitals — it equips them. A partner hospital keeps its ownership, its name and its staff. Advitya brings the specialist consultant, the surgical protocol, the peri-operative pathway and the training that raises what that hospital can safely offer.

Specialist on site

The consultant travels to the patient. Clinics and operating lists run at the partner hospital, not a city away.

Protocol and pathway

Shared pre-operative workup, theatre protocol and post-operative care, so the standard does not change with the postcode.

Training that stays

Theatre, nursing and diagnostic teams are trained in place, so the capability outlasts any single visit.

Standards

Clinical Quality and Patient-Safety Standards

  • Reports reviewed before travel. Scans and pathology are read by a consultant before an outstation patient makes the journey, so the first visit is a decision rather than a waiting room.
  • Multidisciplinary discussion. Cancer cases are discussed across surgery, pathology, radiology and oncology before a treatment plan is offered.
  • Surgical safety checklist. The WHO surgical safety checklist is run for every operation, with site marking and team time-out.
  • Infection control. Theatre and ward protocols for hand hygiene, sterilisation and antibiotic stewardship, audited internally.
  • Informed consent. The operation, the alternatives and the honest risk are explained in the patient’s own language before consent is taken.
  • Outcome follow-up. Post-operative complications and readmissions are recorded and reviewed, not filed away.
Beyond the Ward

Research, Training and Community Initiatives
